New Years Evening

We went to the stake's New Year's Evening party. Yes that is evening not eve, because Eve gets really confused about that and thinks it's a party for her. But anyway, we went to childwatch for my 4 hour shift of the week, where Eve had hot cocoa with her friends. She thought that was fun, because usually he kids aren't supposed to spend much time in the kitchen. But it was only staff kids today and it is New Years Evening afterall. After that we went swimming. Then the kids got to go ice skating for the first time. Monroe was quite excited about this. He thought he was just the coolest thing ever... which he is. I didn't want to crack my belly open like an egg.... I'm so huge that seems to be a real possibility.... so some of the youth were kind enough to take the kids out and help them. They had a really good time. Everyone was going to ring in the new years SLC time at 11 pm.... for all the fuddy duddies that didn't want to stay up that late. Well what does it mean that we left with grouchy kids at 9:30?? I think that makes us smarty uhhhh smarty parties-ers. We'll be asleep at midnight so keep the noise down please. Happy New Years. :)

Sledding

Today was our last sled of the snow/slush. The kids are so cute. They keep trying to walk up the sliding place they have all slicked up... rather than say, going around or something that might make more sense. My kids certainly have determination.

Christmas

We enjoyed a snowy Christmas, how lucky is that?? The kids have been playing outside for 2-3 hours a day but now it's going slushy and rainy. It lasted a while though. Here's a pic of the kids with their presents from Santa Claus. Eve was siked out to come tell us that he came... and that the cookies were "all gone!!". Monroe on the other hand only wanted a candy cane from Santa. so all the other stff was just icing on the cake. My babies are so cute. Also included is a picture of our snow man. The kids really have been into the snow man making. That's about it! Hope everyone else is doing well!

Mary and Joseph

My little Mary and Joseph. Aren't they all cute taking care of baby Jesus. When she was all big with child she had the baby tucked up under her shirt... then when it was time, she bore baby Jesus.. by flippin him out into the cradle. That's how Clara is going to come out. Weeeeee. Merry Christmas!!!

Santa's cookies.

Well, there was no room in the fridge to hurry up the cooling process..... well duh, the whole outdoors would work just fine. Little sizzle and they cool in about 30 seconds. I LOVE IT!!! Santa, we love you.... Bring us the best presents, we have cookies and carrots!

Pajama Pictures

Some cutie pictures taken at J.C. Penney about a week ago. My kids are the cutest but the others are stiff competition. The kids were good sports about it, especially Elise and Daniel. The pj's Aunt Mandy made were super cute and she was talented enough to make them. Rock on Mandy!!!
